Fallout 4 Revere Satellite Array

Fallout 4 Revere Satellite Array

The Revere satellite array is a location in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4.

Layout

The array is a set of 4 large dish receivers, similar to those found in the Capital Wasteland, but half as high and without any internal rooms. Various makeshift scrap and wooden structures have been built onto the receiver walkways by the super mutant inhabitants. The southwestern dish cannot be accessed, as the walkway has crumbled.

Notable loot

U.S. Covert Operations Manual: In the shanty hut atop the central satellite support (without the dish). It's on a table with a lamp next to it.

A Fat Man, Super mutant leg armor, a steamer trunk, and an empty power armor frame can be found at the highest point of the Northeast Dish.

The power armor frame will not spawn with any armor pieces or a fusion core, and as such is immune to the "Cell Reset" bug which can cause the permanent loss of mounted armor pieces on unattended power armor.

This is the only empty power armor frame which does not have to be purchased or stolen.

Super mutant chains is found in the shack atop the southwestern dish.

Slightly north and west of the Northern fenceline, just beyond the water and along the road, a destroyed military convoy can be found (unmarked location - Railroad Checkpoint). In the truck is a power armor frame with a fully charged Fusion core and leveled random armor pieces. You can also find ammo boxes with random ammunition.

A mini nuke can be found in the water of the fallen dish. You may need to sneak to see it. Stand in the middle of the water and it is to the SW.

Fallout 4 The Lost Patrol

Fallout 4 The Lost Patrol

The player character will detect a distress signal once they are near any one of the three locations where Brotherhood of Steel followers perished. To complete the objective, they must loot holotapes from the fallen soldiers, then play them from their Pip-Boy.

Knight Varham's Battlefield holotape is located in a ruined house north of Relay Tower 0MC-810, south of Greentop Nursery and east of Taffington boathouse.

Knight Astlin can be found behind a table in the recruitment office inside the National Guard training yard.

Scribe Faris is found at the Revere satellite array. He is in a metal and wood structure above the ground connected to the southeast array tower. This area is inhabited by super mutants.

Once all three holotapes have been played, a quest marker will appear at Recon Bunker Theta which is otherwise inaccessible. Once there, the Sole Survivor will be accosted by Paladin Brandis, who will demand to know why they are there. If they tell him the fate of the soldiers, he will allow them to loot the items in his home, which includes a fusion core. Otherwise he will initialise combat.

The Sole Survivor may have the option of persuading him to rejoin the Brotherhood of Steel (only if they are a Brotherhood of Steel member). They must pass three conversation checks and if any of them fail, he will remain where he is. If successful, they will find him aboard the Prydwen where he will reward them with the Survivor's Special.

To complete the quest, the Sole Survivor must report to Paladin Danse, or Captain Kells if the quest Shadow of Steel has been started and the Prydwen entered the Commonwealth.

Regarding Paladin DanseEdit

There is no way to start the quest with Danse after he becomes available as a companion.

For anyone who wishes to take Paladin Danse with them as a companion, it may be worth waiting until Captain Kells gives you this quest aboard the Prydwen. If Danse is available as a companion when you embark on this quest, and you take him with you, he has a lot of unique dialogue and scripted reactions throughout, and will even help you out in conversation when you confront Paladin Brandis and talks to you about it afterward.

Be warned if you have Paladin Danse with you as a companion, and have completed Blind Betrayal, as Brandis will behave towards you and Danse as any Brotherhood member would after completing his quest.

Regarding Revere satellite arrayEdit

To get to the distress signal in the Revere Satellite Array, the player character will need to kill a large number of super mutants, including several higher level variants. It is a difficult challenge for one not equipped or skilled properly.

Just north of Revere satellite array is a vehicle that contains a partial suit of level-adjusted Power Armor, which may prove useful for clearing the array (assuming you don't already have one of the two suits located at the Training Yard). It is, however, guarded by a higher level Mister Gutsy - who may prove difficult early on for lower leveled characters. There is also an empty power armor frame on one of the dishes at the array, accessible via some rickety stairs and walkways.

The Revere satellite array is one of the locations you can direct the prototype sentry bot from the Robotics disposal ground to patrol. Although it can be tricky to direct, it can make short work of even legendary super mutants if it spots them.

The player may be lucky with navigating the Satellite Array if a Vertibird spawns and attacks the Super Mutants. The Mutants will probably destroy the Vertibird, but it may land in a favourable location, causing a huge area of effect explosion that will probably kill many of the mutants, making it very easy to reach the transponder without being attacked.

Hearthstone Android

Hearthstone Android

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is an online collectible card game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. It is free-to-play with optional purchases to acquire additional cards and access adventures more easily. The game was announced at the Penny Arcade Expo in March 2013 and released worldwide on March 11, 2014. Hearthstone is available on both Windows and OS X systems, and is also available on iOS and Android devices. New content for the game involves the addition of new card sets and gameplay, taking the form of either expansion packs or single-player adventures that reward the player with collectible cards upon completion.

By November 2015, there were more than 40 million registered Hearthstone accounts.

Hearthstone is a digital collectible card game that revolves around turn-based matches between two opponents, operated through Blizzard's Battle.net.[3] Players can choose from a number of game modes, with each offering a slightly different experience. Players start the game with a substantial collection of basic cards, but can gain rarer and more powerful cards through purchasing packs of cards or as reward for completing Arena runs. In-game gold is rewarded for completing randomized daily quests, which one is given each day, stacking up to three (one quest can be rerolled per day), and by winning matches in play mode or brawls, where 10 gold per 3 wins is earned with a 100 gold limit from wins per day.[4][5]

Hearthstone is supported by micropayments for booster packs, arena mode entries, adventure mode wing access and alternate hero skins. Unlike other collectible card games, Hearthstone does not allow card trading and instead allows players to 'disenchant' unwanted cards into an 'arcane dust' resource, which can then be used to 'craft' new cards of the player's choice. Hamilton Chu, executive producer of Hearthstone, stated while talking about why Blizzard does not plan on adding a trading card system that, "...a key thing for us was focusing on [the user]... playing the game". Blizzard wanted to do things such as avoid a free market where card values could fluctuate, discourage cheating methods like bots and duping, reduce the unauthorized third party sales (all against the terms of use), and keep the profit derived from the game for the company.

Hearthstone is set within the Warcraft universe, with its characters, spells and locations drawing from existing lore.

Each Hearthstone match is a one-versus-one battle between two opponents. Gameplay in Hearthstone is turn-based, with players taking turns to play cards from their hand, casting spells, equipping weapons, or summoning 'minions' to do battle on their behalf. Unlike card games like Magic: The Gathering, the opposing player has no means to interactively interrupt or counter the current player's action during their turns, though may play cards on their turn that will create events that automatically respond to the other player's actions. Games may be between two players, or one human player and one computer-controlled opponent.

Each player is represented by their chosen 'hero', an important character from Warcraft lore. Each hero represents a particular class, determining the cards and unique hero power available to them. Each hero has 30 health - if that number is reduced to zero, the hero is destroyed, and the controlling player has lost the game. The nine available classes, along with their hero name, are Mage (Jaina Proudmoore or Medivh), Priest (Anduin Wrynn), Warlock (Gul'dan), Paladin (Uther the Lightbringer or Lady Liadrin), Warrior (Garrosh Hellscream or King Magni Bronzebeard), Druid (Malfurion Stormrage), Hunter (Rexxar or Alleria Windrunner), Rogue (Valeera Sanguinar) and Shaman (Thrall).[8] Players can choose to play using one of several pre-assembled 'basic' decks or a deck of their own making. While many cards are available to heroes of any class (the neutral cards), a substantial portion is limited to a specific class, giving each hero their own strengths and unique possibilities.

Into The Stars Gameplay

Into The Stars Gameplay

We’ve been under attack for 10 years now. Every 6 months the Skorn arrive, set on destroying our planet, and now few of us remain to defend what’s left. The massive Ark ships we’ve built in hopes of escaping them have all gone, save one. You must take the role of Captain of our final vessel, the Ark 13, and guide a hand-picked, but inexperienced crew on a journey fraught with intrigue and danger. The fate of the Endurance Coalition is uncertain and you could well be our last hope. How will you fare once you set out Into the Stars?

Into the Stars is an open-world Space Survival Simulation built in Unreal Engine 4, featuring an original score from Jack Wall.

Take the role of Captain as you explore a massive star system in search of a new home for humanity. Outfit your ship, hand pick your crew and set off on a journey where you must scavenge resources, shelter civilians and either outrun, or outgun a hostile alien force, in order to survive.

Slime Rancher Gameplay

Slime Rancher Gameplay

What is Slime Rancher?

Slime Rancher is the tale of Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky, young rancher who sets out for a life a thousand light years away from Earth on the ‘Far, Far Range’ where she tries her hand at making a living wrangling slimes. With a can-do attitude, plenty of grit, and her trusty vacpack, Beatrix attempts to stake a claim, amass a fortune, and avoid the continual peril that looms from the rolling, jiggling avalanche of slimes around every corner.

Sounds great! Give me more details!

Slime Rancher is a first-person, sandbox experience where players will solve problems and survive through mastery of their vacpack: a vacuum/cannon/backpack that can vacuum up and blast out anything that isn’t nailed to the ground.

Each day will present new challenges to players as they attempt to amass a great fortune in the business of slime ranching. While players are free to approach these challenges however they wish, a typical day might look like this:

You wake at the crack of dawn and get to watering the crops at the ranch. Some slimes are vegetarian, after all. Then it’s time to gather up the plumpest hens from the chicken coop. Some slimes are totally not vegetarian, after all.

Next, you’re off to feed slimes their breakfast over at the slime corrals so they don’t get too out of hand during the day. Hungry slimes get jumpy. Jumpy slimes can’t be contained.

With your ranch set for the day, it’s time to begin exploring the untamed wilds of the Far, Far Range. Along the way, you’ll encounter slimes you’ve never seen before, discover a new type of veggie to cultivate back at the ranch, and narrowly avoid certain doom in a valley of burly, feral slimes.

With the sun setting, it’s time to head back to the ranch, rustle up some dinner for your slimes, and try and figure out just how the heck you’ll keep these new slimes that seem to, well, explode all the time.

But you can do this. You had the courage to travel a thousand light years away from home to make a living as a slime rancher. Slimes that go boom? No problem. Slimes that burn with a radioactive aura? Bring it on. Slimes that wiggle their butts? Wait, do slimes even have butts?

Let’s get ranching.

Boom Beach Android

Boom Beach Android

Boom Beach is a freemium mobile strategy video game for iOS and Android, developed by Supercell.[1][2][3] It was soft launched in Canada on 11 November 2013[4] and widely released on 26 March 2014.

Boom Beach gameplay

Boom Beach is a strategy game that combines attacks on other players with attacks against computer generated bases. The game's storyline is set in a tropical archipelago with the player on an island with defenses and troops (similar to Supercell's Clash of Clans game).

Players can build their base, upgrade their defenses and other buildings, and unlock troop upgrades. Boom Beach combines single player campaign play as well as the ability to attack other players in multiplayer mode on the same map. It has been a top 10 game in 22 countries at its launch. The game pits the player against an enemy known as "The BlackGuard" which is often represented by Lt. Hammerman.

Apart from the main aspect of the game, there is also a cooperative form where players gather "Intel" (by surviving or ordering attacks, or by rewards) which is then used to attack computer generated bases in task force operations.

Currency

Boom Beach requires the player to collect and store resources such as gold, wood, stone, and in higher levels, iron. These resources are used to upgrade troops and buildings. The game also uses a premium purchasable currency, diamonds, which are available in small quantities from gameplay. Diamonds can be used to speed up every aspect of the game (except for submarine dives); from construction time of buildings and statues, to troop training and time of armory research. They can also be used to purchase more gold, wood, stone and iron. The only thing that cannot be bought with the diamonds is Intel, as well as Power stones, which are used to create statues which boost various aspects of the game like troop health, building health, resource production, etc.

Castle Clash Gameplay

Castle Clash Gameplay

Build and battle your way to glory in Castle Clash! With over 10 million clashers worldwide, the heat is on in the most addictive game ever! In a brilliant mix of fast-paced strategy and exciting combat, Castle Clash is a game of epic proportions! Hire legions of powerful Heroes and lead an army of mythical creatures, big and small. Fight to the top and become the world’s greatest Warlord. Your empire is as strong as your creativity!

Game Features:

Build and upgrade your impenetrable fortress!

Create the ultimate army from a dozen wild troops!

Fast-paced, thrilling, and realistic battles!

Pit your Heroes against other players in the Arena!

Tap, swipe and tilt to cast powerful spells!

Free-to-play fantasy strategy!

Test your heroes against monsters in the dungeons!

Join a guild, share the benefits and fight together against bosses!

The Town Hall is the most significant building in the game.

It unlocks other buildings in the shop.

It has the highest HP per level.

It gives the most completion percentage to an enemy when destroyed and is required to receive one of the three flames per dungeon or raid win.

It functions well as a target for enemies to attack while your heroes, troops, and towers kill the attackers.

It looks cool when your town hall is located in a place that seems purposeful when designing your base.

Vaults are the most valuable buildings in the game. (Pun intended)

They store gold and mana acquired from mines, mills, dungeons, raids, Here Be Monsters, and purchases in the shop.

They limit the amount of gold and mana you can hold. When you're trying to save up for large purchases, these buildings should be guarded with a high priority. You can do this by surrounding them by towers, heroes, or troops.

They have decent HP per level and function well as interior targets while your heroes, troops and towers kill the attackers, when not being used to hoard resources.

Towers are the most defensive buildings in the game.

They damage enemy attackers.

Some towers have strong HP per level and function well as interior targets while your heroes, troops and towers kill the attackers.

After a Watchtower reaches level 10 you can specialize them according to your defensive preferences:

Arrow Towers provide strong offense by dealing high damage. They can be forced to target heroes and deal multiplied damage through the use of Garrisons. They are weak against swarms of small troops or large packs of Ornithopters.

Magic Towers provide simple defense dealing moderate damage to multiple targets. While they don't have the highest damage or Hit Points, they are quite useful when used with Blue Garrisons for stunning incoming attackers.

Cannon Towers provide specialized defense, dealing area damage to ground targets. They are ineffective against flying enemies. Green garrisons are necessary to hit fast moving units like Assassins, Ninjas, Heroes with Sprint, and Savage Ogres.

The Heroes Altar, Relic Hall, and the Guild Hall are the most special buildings in the game.

All three unlock additional game content, making them very useful and fun to have.

Heroes Altar's reduce the waiting time required for Heroes to revive when killed. Each Altar level reduces the waiting time.

Every Relic Hall level unlocks a new spell, new spell slot, or new spell level.

Leveling the Guild Hall will increase the number of Flags a player can hold at one time.

Both have High HP per level and functioned well as interior targets while your heroes, troops, and towers kill the attackers.

The Arena, Warehouse and Training Center are the most specific buildings in the game.

All three unlock game content and features.

All have low HP, only have ONE level, and do not function well as interior targets while your heroes, troops, and towers kill the attackers.

Because of their low HP all function well as exterior targets placed in locations that redirect attacking enemies from attacking other buildings.

These buildings are considered low HP because of their inability to increase their HP. They may however have higher HP than some of your buildings if many of your buildings have low levels.

Walls are the most basic buildings in the game.

They do not count toward completion percentage so an enemy does not need to target them unless required to do so by the AI when attacking other buildings.

Upgrading walls no longer increases might, nor do any walls built per Guild Hall upgrade.

They function well as exterior targets, blocking (or slowing down) enemies from attacking other buildings.

They function well as walls, redirecting enemies away from the interior of your base or redirecting enemies into traps

Candy Crush Gameplay

Candy Crush Gameplay

Candy Crush Saga is a match-three puzzle video game released by King on April 12, 2012 for Facebook, on November 14, 2012 for iOS, on December 14, 2012 for Android, on December 11, 2014 for Fire OS, on September 6, 2012 for Windows Phone, and July 29, 2015, for Windows 10 and Tizen. It is a variation on their browser game Candy Crush.

It is now owned by Activision Blizzard, an acquisition deal that was completed on February 23, 2016.

Different "special candies" can be formed by matching a combination of 4 or 5 in a certain formation, such as a "Striped" candy (which clears either an entire row or column), a "Wrapped" candy (which acts like a bomb; clearing the 8 surrounding candies, falling, and exploding one more time), or a "Color Bomb" (which removes all candies with the same color of the one it is matched with). Special Candies can also be matched together, producing varying effects; for example, matching a color bomb with a striped candy turns all of the candies of its color into striped candies, which are immediately detonated.

Other special candies which appear on the boards for free can be purchased from the in-game store, or won from the Candy Crush Booster Wheel. These include Jelly Fish in jelly clearing boards which clear 3 pieces from the board at random, the Coconut Wheel on ingredient dropping boards which changes three candies in a row into striped candies, and Lucky Candy in recipe boards which when matched change to one of the types of pieces the player needs to clear the objective. The Booster Wheel also offers a chance to win a jackpot of all boosters in one spin.

Other pieces known as Blockers appear on boards to add to the challenge: Icing (also called Meringues) cannot be moved and can only be removed by matching next to it, Liquorice Locks cage off single pieces of candy to prevent them from use, Chocolate pieces will multiply if not cleared, Liquorice Swirls cannot be removed with Special Candies, Candy Bombs will explode and end the level early if they are not cleared, Multilayered Icing requires multiple matches to remove, Chocolate Spawners will produce Chocolate pieces at all times, Marmalade guards Special Candies from use, Cake Bombs can clear the entire board once cleared, and Toffee Tornadoes move on the board destroying pieces and shattering the tile beneath them to prevent use for one turn. Other pieces also appear on levels such as Chameleon Candies which switch colors every turn, Mystery Candies which randomly turn into a Special Candy or a Blocker, and Extra Time Candies on time limit levels.

The player can also purchase various Boosters to attempt to win levels more easily or extend play after a lost level; Lollipop Hammer clears a single piece from the board, Extra Moves can be purchased if running out of moves at the end of a game, Free Switch allows players to switch two pieces that do not possibly match, Sweet Teeth to clear out Blockers and Jelly, Bomb Coolers to add onto Candy Bomb timers if the timer runs out, and the Bubblegum Troll to stop Chocolate Spawners from spawning chocolate from its sides. The Dreamworld levels have their own special boosters: the Restore Balance booster to reset the Moon Scale for 5 turns and the Moon Struck booster to automatically activate Moon Struck.

In May 2014, a sequel titled Candy Crush Soda Saga was soft launched by King, with a similar design but new gameplay dynamics, such as a soda bottle piece that can shift gravity.[20][21] As of January 2016, there are 705 "Candy Crush Soda Saga" levels.

On October 20, 2014, the Facebook version of Candy Crush Soda Saga was released worldwide[22] and the mobile app was released in November on the Android and iOS platforms.[23][24][25] The app was subsequently made available for Windows 10 and Windows Phone in October 2015.

In September 2015, another sequel entitled Candy Crush Jelly Saga was soft-launched in various countries for the Android platform.[26] Candy Crush Jelly Saga was released worldwide in January 2016.

Final Fantasy VI Gameplay

Final Fantasy VI Gameplay

Final Fantasy VI is the sixth installment in the Final Fantasy series, first released in 1994 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was directed by Yoshinori Kitase and Hiroyuki Itou, who took over from the series creator and producer Hironobu Sakaguchi, director of the five previous installments. Long-time series contributor Nobuo Uematsu composed the musical score, while Yoshitaka Amano contributed to the image design.

Final Fantasy VI was the third installment in the Final Fantasy series to be released in North America (after the original Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy IV) and was first released in North America as Final Fantasy III to maintain the naming continuity. Due to various content guidelines imposed by Nintendo of America at the time, several other changes were made to the original North American version, including restrictions against nudity and profanity.

The game's story focuses on a conflict between the Gestahlian Empire conquering the world, and the Returners, a rebel faction opposed to them. The Empire has acquired a great army through experiments with espers, magical demi-gods of legend. The Returners seek magical power to fight the Empire on equal terms, and an amnesiac former imperial soldier, Terra Branford, proves key to both sides for understanding magic and espers.

Final Fantasy VI features fourteen playable characters, the largest cast of any main series game in the Final Fantasy series. The game is set in a fantasy steampunk-style world, at a technological level roughly corresponding to Earth during the second industrial revolution. It is the last title in the series to be released for the Super Nintendo console and the last title to be renamed; the next installment was called Final Fantasy VII on all regions.

Final Fantasy VI was ported to the PlayStation and released in Japan in 1999, both individually and as part of the Final Fantasy Collection. In North America, this port is available as part of the Final Fantasy Anthology. In 2002, the PlayStation port was released individually in Europe and Australia. A new port was released with additional content on the Game Boy Advance as Final Fantasy VI Advance on November 30th, 2006, in Japan, and February 5th, 2007, in North America.

In October 2013 it was revealed Final Fantasy VI would be ported to smartphones with updated graphics and adjustments to the battle system. It was released on January 15, 2014 for Android followed by an iOS release on February 6, 2014, and then another Android release on the Amazon Appstore for both Kindle and non-Kindle devices on December 8, 2014. The latter was made compatible with the Amazon Fire TV microconsole in September 2015. On December 16, 2015, this version was released on Steam.

GameplayEdit

The gameplay is similar to that of Final Fantasy V, utilizing the Active Time Battle system. Players can equip espers that teach magic and give stat boosts, similar to the jobs from Final Fantasy V. What abilities cannot be taught by espers can usually be learned by equipping relics, which give abilities like Jump and Two Hands. Party members can each equip a weapon, a shield, a helmet and a piece of clothing, each equipment piece often with its unique properties, such as stat boosts or elemental immunities.

Party swappingEdit

The Menu.

Unlike previous entries, such as Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV, (though later made possible on the remakes), where party members come and go as the story dictates, Final Fantasy VI introduces the ability to change the party at almost any given time. Fairly early into the game—in a feature that would be repeated in later installments—players can form a party from whatever allies the resistance has gathered. Each ally has a specific talent; for example, Locke is a thief, Cyan is a samurai, and so on.

At times, such as the infiltration of the Southern Continent, the storyline demands that specific party members be taken along, but for the most part, the player can use whichever party they like. A total of fourteen playable characters were created for the game, each representing a different aspect of the traditional Final Fantasy job system and possessing a unique fighting style. Because of the vast number of characters, several dungeons require the player to form multiple parties, using two or three groups to cooperate to progress.

Fallout 4 Taking Independence

Taking Independence is a Minutemen main quest and achievement/trophy in Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 Taking Independence

Once you have established approximately four settlements, including Sanctuary Hills, for the Minutemen, talk to Preston Garvey. He'll tell you about the Castle, the former headquarters of the Minutemen, and discuss his desire to retake the building to show that the Minutemen are back. Offer to help, and he'll tell you to meet him outside the Castle.

It is strongly recommended that you bring power armor and at least one heavy weapon. It may also be worthwhile to bring the parts for two medium power generators.

The hike to the Castle will take you through South Boston and past a number of both Raiders and Super Mutants in equal measure. Garvey is waiting for you in a destroyed Sullivan's west of the Castle with three other Minutemen. Proceeding to The Castle before meeting Garvey will likely prove challenging to lower-level characters, as it is crawling with mirelurks and has some nasty surprises in wait. Additionally, the Sullivan's has a bunch of equipment on the counter that may be useful--including land mines.

Talk to Garvey, and he'll discuss your options. The three Minutemen will offer various potential plans of attack--a direct assault into the courtyard via the breached northwest wall, a pincer through the breach and the main gate to the south, or setting up a firing line outside the northwest breach and drawing the lurks out to your guns. Pick whichever suits your preference, and then wait for the Minutemen to move into position. When all's in order, launch the attack.

There are about ten mirelurks of varying strength inside the Castle. Aim for their soft undersides, as chipping away at their shells is a sure way to just irritate them and get yourself clawed. Once they're all dead, Garvey and the Minutemen will observe the egg clutches laying around--if they're not cleared out the mirelurks will keep coming back.

Approaching the egg clutches will cause several of them to hatch mirelurk hatchlings at you--effectively radroaches. Either handle them as they come or take out the clutches from a distance with explosives--this will deny you those tasty Mirelurk Eggs, however, which make a fantastic omelette among other things.

It is strongly recommended that before you begin clearing them out in earnest, you lay some mines on the breach in the southwest wall--not the one you came in on, the other almost-destroyed one. If you don't have a heavy weapon, head to the easternmost room in the fort--there's a missile launcher and some ammo on a table in there. There's also a flamer kicking around, but Preston is likely to requisition that.

The reason for all this will quickly become obvious. After you've destroyed a few clutches, the entire Castle will shake, and a Mirelurk Queen will emerge from the lagoon--the "sea monster" that destroyed the Castle in the past. She'll make her way through the southwest breach and into the Castle courtyard, at which point she'll start killing anything she can reach--Preston and one of the Minutemen are essential, but two of them aren't, and you certainly aren't. Try to keep a moderate distance--too close and she'll tear you to shreds, but too far and she'll spit acid at you with serious effectiveness. She is NOT to be underestimated, but keep up the fire and keep her attention away from your squishy allies, and she'll go down.

Once the Queen is dead, clear out the remainder of the egg clutches--don't forget to check on top of as well as inside the walls! After they're all gone Preston will tell you about Radio Freedom, and task you with getting it up and running. This requires ten power all on its lonesome--either one large or two medium generators will do the trick. Once Radio Freedom is powered, talk to Preston again to complete the quest.

Fallout 4 Old Corner Book Store

Fallout 4 Old Corner Book Store

Entering on the first floor, there are rows of bookshelves within a single-room store. There is a sitting/reading area in the back of the store, near where the second floor has collapsed onto the first. Near the entrance is the check-out counter. There is a lootable cash register, and an enamel bucket with Nuka Cola Quantum inside

Judging by the rubble from the second floor, there may have been computers on the top floor. However, all that remains currently is a lectern with folding chairs around it, and a sitting area with a first-aid kit. There is a skeleton with a burnt text book in the sitting area, on the ground. It is mostly empty on the second floor, other than this.

PlaqueEdit

"The Old Corner Bookstore was originally built as an apothecary after the devastating Great Fire of 1711. Originally the land belonged to Anne Hutchinson, the controversial puritan who was excommunicated and banished from Massachusetts for her "heretical" beliefs and sermons. During the mid-nineteenth century, the Old Corner Bookstore was the home of the leading American publisher Ticknor and Fields. They published the works of such luminaries as Charles Dickens, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and Henry Dave Thoreau. Many of those were frequent visitors to the site."

Notable lootEdit

Nuka Cola Quantum in an enamel bucket by the front counter.

"Racetrack Advertisement" note on the top of the front counter

"Help Wanted!" note in one of the cubbyholes in the front counter

A caps stash in one of the cubbyholes in the front counter

NotesEdit

A seal outside marks the Old Corner Bookstore as one of the stops on the Freedom Trail. It is stop 5, and has the code "3: I"

AppearancesEdit

The Old Corner Bookstore only appears in Fallout 4.

Behind the scenesEdit

The Old Corner Bookstore is a real-world Boston landmark, originally built in 1712 and was converted into a bookstore in 1829.

While the Old Corner Bookstore in the Fallout universe remains a bookstore, in present day Boston, the building houses a Chipotle Mexican Grill.

In reality, the Old Corner Bookstore is South of the Old State House, and on the opposite side of the street, while in the game, they are on the same side of the street, and the Old State House is South of the Old Corner Book Store.

Users play as one of many unique races and classes in the lore-filled world of Eyal, exploring random dungeons, facing challenging battles, and developing characters with your own tailored mix of abilities and powers. With a modern graphical and customizeable interface, intuitive mouse control, streamlined mechanics and deep, challenging combat, Tales of Maj’Eyal offers engaging roguelike gameplay for the 21st century.

Tales of Maj'Eyal is written in and for the free and open-source T-Engine 4 game engine. Other games written in T-Engine 4 can be found here. Tales of Maj'Eyal and T-Engine 4 can be downloaded for free from http://www.te4.org/download.

Tales of Maj'Eyal and T-Engine 4 are written by Nicolas Casalini, and supported by player donations for premium content.

Tales of Maj'Eyal is an open source roguelike video game created by Nicolas Casalini ("DarkGod"), with graphics by Assen Kanev ("Rexorcorum") and Raymond Gaustadnes ("Shockbolt"). It is based upon Casalini's earlier game Tales of Middle Earth,[1] which in turn is based upon Angband.[2] Development of ToME 4 started in 2009, and the first formal release occurred in 2012.[3]

Tales of Maj'Eyal is available as a free download[4] for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux under a GNU GPL version 3 license. The game may also be purchased through Steam[4][5] or GOG

Tales of Maj'Eyal is a dungeon crawl featuring a customizable graphical interface that integrates classic roguelike keyboard commands with a mouse-driven interface.[7] In a departure from many older roguelike games, Tales of Maj'Eyal has full-color graphics, can be played almost exclusively with the mouse, and despite permadeath the player can earn extra lives through various ways and leveling up.[8]

Tales of Maj'Eyal emphasizes tactical turn-based combat and flexible player-controlled character development. Gameplay depends heavily on the player's decisions and ability to develop and execute strategy. Play begins with the player selecting one of nine races and one of 25 classes (expandable with addons). Not all character choices are available at first; some must be unlocked through in-game progress,[9] or through monetary donation or purchase.[5]

The player must explore Eyal, a lore-filled world containing numerous dungeons and adversaries. The plot is non-linear, and success depends as much on character planning and storyline choices as it does on the player's skill in defeating enemies in combat.

The T-Engine game engine is written in C, and offers a development framework for grid-based game modules written in Lua. It supports many OpenGL features such as particle effects and shaders. The T-Engine has been used to create games for the annual Seven Day Roguelike Challenge in 2011.[10] and 2012.[11]

Modifications may also be made to the Tales of Maj'Eyal game module through an addon system, including graphics, interface, content and gameplay balance alterations and additions.

Online support[edit]

Players may register with an optional online game server, which allows them to view their characters, achievements and high scores.[9] It also collates game statistics including the top killers of players, most common race/class choices, and number of wins. In addition, the game server offers an online chat system, letting players talk to each other

Fallout 2 Gameplay

Fallout 2

Fallout 2: A Post-Nuclear Role Playing Game is the sequel to the original Fallout. Released on September 30, 1998, it was officially developed by Black Isle Studios, which by that point had become a full-fledged design outfit.

Fallout 2's gameplay is similar to the original Fallout. It is a role-playing game with turn-based combat, where the player plays the game in the pseudo-isometric view.

Character attributes

Main article: Fallout 2 primary statistics

Fallout 2 uses a character creation system called SPECIAL. S.P.E.C.I.A.L is an acronym and initialism of Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck. These are the seven basic attributes of every character in the game. They are used to determine the skills and perks of the given character.

Skills

Main article: Fallout 2 skills

There are 18 different skills in the game. They are ranked from 0% to 300%. The starting values for those skills at level one are determined by the character's seven basic attributes, but most of those skills would fall between 0% and 50%. Every time a level is gained, the player will be awarded skill points to be used to improve their character's skills, equal to five points plus twice their Intelligence. The player may choose to "tag" three of the 18 skills (though later a fourth skill may be tagged). A tagged skill will improve at twice the normal rate. Some non-player characters can also improve Skills via training.

There are:

Six combat skills: Small Guns, Big Guns, Energy Weapons, Unarmed, Melee Weapons, Throwing Weapons.

Eight active skills: First Aid, Doctor, Sneak, Lockpick, Steal, Traps, Science, Repair.

Four passive skills: Speech, Barter, Gambling, Outdoorsman.

Combat skills improve accuracy and (generally) damage with weapons which correspond to that combat skill. For example, the effectiveness of a minigun would be governed by the Big Guns skill, while the effectiveness of a 10mm pistol would be governed by the Small Guns skill.

Active skills may be selected and used on the player, non-player characters, and the environment to accomplish tasks. For example, a player may use First Aid to heal themselves or allies, or use Repair to fix a generator. Active skills can also contribute to in-game dialogue. For example, someone with a high Science skill could talk to a scientist and get a better response out of them than if they had a low science skill.

Passive skills also contribute to in-game dialogue, along with various other things throughout the game. However, they can't ever be selected and used like active skills can.

At the end of the original Fallout, the hero, the Vault Dweller, was exiled by the Vault Overseer for prolonged exposure to the outside world. Unable to return home, the Vault Dweller, with a group of willing companions, traveled far north. Eventually they started their own tribal village called Arroyo in what we know as Oregon. Decades have passed since the original Fallout, and the Vault Dweller disappeared from Arroyo after writing his memoirs.

In the time since the Vault Dweller's exile, a new government known as the New California Republic (abbreviated NCR) has begun to unify the southern towns and is spreading to the north. A mysterious new organization known as the Enclave has emerged with the most sophisticated technology in the wastes, even surpassing the Brotherhood of Steel. A new drug, jet, has become a cancer on many towns, its addictive properties forcing many to rely on the town of New Reno to keep them supplied.

During 2241, the humble village of Arroyo suffered the worst drought on record. The Witcher Gameplay

The Witcher (Polish: Wiedźmin) is a computer role-playing game for the PC by CD Projekt RED. Based on the book series of the same name by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski, the game utilizes BioWare's proprietary Aurora Engine and was released in October 2007. An enhanced edition of the game, containing among other things the editor and two new adventures "The Price of Neutrality" and "Side Effects", was released in September 2008. In the first 10 months since release, the game has sold 800,000 copies worldwide. A console version using an entirely new engine and combat system, titled The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf, was planned for release in Fall 2009, but development was suspended indefinitely on May 6th, 2009.

The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a mutant "Witcher" — a travelling monster hunter for hire, gifted with unnatural powers. Taking place in a fictional medieval world, the game implements detailed visuals. The natural light during various phases of the day is realistically altered, and the day and night transitions serve to enrich the game's ambience. The weather can dynamically change from a light drizzle to a dark, stormy downpour accompanied by thunder and lightning, and the NPCs react to the rain by hiding under roofs trying to get out of the rain.

The game is centred on Geralt the witcher, also known as "the White Wolf", who at the beginning of the game suffers from amnesia. He gradually learns that he was a very renowned witcher, and that he had friends and enemies almost everywhere, who remember him but whom he does not remember. Through the player's actions, he will redefine those relationships and choose his path in the political intrigue that surrounds him.

Story motivations

The developers have often said that their main goal with the game's storyline was to give choices to the player where there was no clear good or evil, and where the player would have to choose the lesser of two (or more) evils.[1]

Also, the story was designed so that the consequences of the player's choices are often not immediately visible, and may only become apparent a few chapters later. This was done to prevent the "save, choose, reload" type of gameplay that is often used in similar computer role-playing games

See where your favorite weapons and utilities were first unveiled and play your way through an extensive single-player campaign.

Worms is a series of artillery strategy computer games developed by British company Team17. Players control a small platoon of worms across a deformable landscape, battling other computer- or player-controlled teams. The games feature bright and humorous cartoon-style animation and a varied arsenal of bizarre weapons.

The game, whose concept was devised by Andy Davidson,[1] was described by the Amiga gaming press as a cross between Cannon Fodder and Lemmings.[2] It is part of a wider genre of turn-based artillery games in which each player controls characters who duel with projectile weapons; similar games include Scorched Earth (1991), Gorillas (1991) and Artillery Duel (1983).

Each player controls a team of several worms. During the course of the game, players take turns selecting one of their worms. They then use whatever tools and weapons are available to attack and kill the opponents' worms, thereby winning the game. Worms may move around the terrain in a variety of ways, normally by walking and jumping but also by using particular tools such as the "Bungee" and "Ninja Rope", to move to otherwise inaccessible areas. Each turn is time-limited to ensure that players do not hold up the game with excessive thinking or moving. The time limit can be modified in some of the games in the Worms series.

Over fifty weapons and tools may be available each time a game is played, and differing selections of weapons and tools can be saved into a "scheme" for easy selection in future games. Other scheme settings allow options such as deployment of reinforcement crates, from which additional weapons can be obtained, and sudden death where the game is rushed to a conclusion after a time limit expires. Some settings provide for the inclusion of objects such as land mines and explosive barrels.

When most weapons are used, they cause explosions that deform the terrain, creating circular cavities. The types of playable terrains include "island" (terrain floating on a body of water), or "cave" (cave with water at the bottom and terrain at both top and bottom of the screen that certain weapons such as "Air Strike" cannot go through; this type is not available in 3-D versions due to camera restrictions). If a worm is hit with a weapon, the amount of damage dealt to the worm will be removed from the worm's initial amount of health. The damage dealt to the attacked worm or worms after any player's turn is shown when all movement on the battlefield has ceased.

Worms die when one of the following situations occurs:

When a worm enters water (either by falling off the island, through a hole in the bottom of it, or by the waterline's being raised above the worm during sudden death)

When a worm is thrown off either side of the arena

When a worm's health is reduced to zero
