Fallout 4 Libertalia Gameplay

Fallout 4 Libertalia Gameplay
After the Quincy Massacre and the dissolution of the original Commonwealth Minutemen, the destroyed dockyard of Libertalia was settled by a group of former Minutemen led by Wire. Initially, he tried to enforce the Minutemen way of helping other settlers in exchange for caps and food, but after a while, their food supplies reached dangerous lows. This resulted in two of Wire's best men raiding caravans. After Wire discovered the actions of his men, he had them executed. Eventually, Wire himself gave into the Raider lifestyle after caravans were repeatedly stiffing his men on their escort jobs. After this, Wire seems to begrudgingly accept that he must do what it takes for him and his men to survive, but notes in his last terminal entry that his former leaders would be sickened by his actions and that he no longer feels like making entries.
The Libertalia eventually falls under the control of a synth named Gabriel at the start of Synth Retention.
Layout
A raider settlement made up of destroyed watercraft linked by wooden bridges. At its center is a capsized supertanker with its stern pointing straight up; the uppermost level - where a Master-level computer terminal guards an otherwise-inaccessible safe - is accessible via a ladder in the Captain's Cabin.
Notable loot
Le Fusil Terribles - A unique combat shotgun with the added effect of +25% damage and limb damage, but with more recoil. It can be found on a wooden crate partially hidden beneath a life preserver in the Captain's cabin.
U.S. Covert Operations Manual - By the red chair and oil lamp on an exposed outlook on the main shanty ship, on the last level before the entrance to the captain's cabin, same level as the white metal cabin.
Mini nuke - In the captain's cabin in the room to the right as you enter under the bottom level of a shelf.
Libertalia password - given by Gabriel during Synth Retention. Gives access to the terminal on the ship.
Crafting
Cooking post : On the southwestern land acces to Libertalia, next to a beached ship.
Weapons workbench : In the middle of the map, on top of the red ship next to the disposal barge.
Armor workbench : On the second floor of the barracks attached to the capsized supertanker.
Chemistry station : One level above the armor workbench.
NotesEdit
Libertalia is a reference to a supposed 17th century pirate state, in the north-east of Madagascar.
Once the Brotherhood arrive into the Commonwealth, the Libertalia is one of the locations the Brotherhood attacks.
Before Synth Retention, a former Minuteman named Wire leads the raiders at the Libertalia. The terminal in his cabin outlines progressive degeneration of his gang and their eventual decline to a raider lifestyle that would "sicken" his former leader. If the player kills Wire and returns later, a high level raider (likely in Power Armor) will have taken his place if Synth Retention is not yet started.
After the start of Synth Retention, the Libertalia is run by a synth named Gabriel, who escaped via The Railroad and underwent a voluntary memory-wipe. He was originally known as B5-92. One can learn this information from a terminal in the Synth Retention Bureau.
It is not recommended for the Sole Survivor to wear power armor here as it is easy to slip off the edge or miss a platform. Since the entire area is over water, the power armor weighted Sole Survivor will go straight to the bottom, causing him or her to walk a distance so they can fast travel. Due to in game constraints, the Sole Survivor is not allowed to exit power armor at most locations within Libertalia.
Appearances
The Libertalia only appears in Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 East City Downs

Fallout 4 East City Downs

Easy City Downs is a location in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4. It is a small city built from a pre-War horse track and is inhabited by raiders and Triggermen. There are also a number of non-hostile robots racing around the track, which include models such as the Mister Gutsy, Mister Handy, Assaultron, and Eyebot. Throughout the area there are several terminals that can be used to shut the bots down, turn them on the raiders and Triggermen, or cause them to self-destruct.

The northwest side is derelict bleachers, southwest is Eager Ernie's lair on the upper floor accessible by the walkway from the center or by jumping on the two table umbrellas from the stands. East of that is the actual track, in the center of the track is a number of small fortifications filled with minor loot and raiders. In the south side of the center of the track is a stable where the backups bots are stored.

Tumblers Today issue #1 (bonus to lockpicking) - In the upper floor of the southwestern building with Eager Ernie, on a small table west of the Master Control Terminal.

On Ernie's body, one will find his key and password. The password can be used to access a computer terminal located on the 2nd floor, which gives following options: 1) to end the race (the robots deactivate and stand idly in place), 2) release 3 more robots onto the track, 3) disable combat inhibitors (makes all the robots hostile to the player), 4) override their targeting system (make the robots hostile to the raiders), 5) initiate a self-destruct sequence.

Racetrack advertisement - Beside the computer terminal on the 1st floor of the main building.

Stealth Boy - Inside an exposed drawer to the left of the master control terminal.

The Bugle repertoire, a holotape found on Ol' Rusty, the eyebot leading the race. Plays trumpet music from the Pip-Boy.

40 Pre-War money in registers on 1st floor of main building.

Kidnapping - This is a possible location for the radiant quest. The kidnapped settler will be next to Eager Ernie's steamer trunk.

As the player gets closer to the track, they will hear Eager Ernie running commentary on the race. If spotted, he will program the robots to attack the player character.

During the quest Rockets' Red Glare, when you board the Vertibird and head for the Prydwen you will pass over the racetrack. You can hear Eager Ernie's commentary over the Vertibird's engine.

Including the extra robots that you can add to the race (via the 3 terminals in the area), there are a total of nine (9x) robots you can loot from (either by having them self-destruct, or destroying them by whatever means you wish to employ).

The nine robots' names are: Atomic Dreamz (Mister Handy), Tin Man (Protectron), Ol' Rusty (Eyebot), Piece o' Junk (Mister Handy), Iron Maiden (Assaultron), Lady Lovelace (Assaultron), The Boston Blaster (Mister Handy), Bob's Your Uncle (Mister Handy), and Fusion's Folly (Mister Handy).

If Danse or Codsworth are brought here before the raiders are killed they will complain about them misusing technology.

If X6-88 is brought here he will mention that the robotics division of the Institute also hosted a robot sports event.

If Deacon is brought here, he will tell the player to "Put [their] money on Black Velvet" because "that pony's gonna win for sure".

If Preston Garvey is brought here, he will suggest that him and the player stay to watch and see who wins.

If Cait is brought here, she will suggest the player to bet on a robot to earn caps.

Appearances

Easy City Downs only appears in Fallout 4.

The name and location are a play on the now defunct Suffolk Downs Thoroughbred horse racing track.

Fallout 4 RobCo Sales & Service Center

Fallout 4 RobCo Sales & Service Center

The building's front entrance is not far from Boston Airport, and upon entering, it appears as a showroom for a number of RobCo-brand terminals, most of which have been destroyed. A service desk stands in front of the north wall, next to which is a doorway marked with an "employees only" sign, with a laser tripwire just beyond.

Following the corridor leads to a basement area containing an expert-locked door leading outside, although the key is on top of a filing cabinet right next to it. On the opposite wall is a "strange device" which can only be activated during the quest Restoring Order, and opens an elaborate doorway leading to the Mechanist's lair.

Notable loot

For notable loot inside the center, see The Mechanist's lair

RobCo sales & service center key on a filing cabinet next to the back door - opens the back door

Notes

The interior of the Robco sales & service center and the Mechanist's lair share the same interior cell.

Appearances

The RobCo sales & service center appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Automatron.
