The Starlight Drive In is a location in the Commonwealth in Fallout 4. The player can use it to build a colony, which is required for the quest Taking Point: Starlight Drive-In



The Starlight Drive In is a Drive-In movie lot with a large 3-story screen and a parking lot filled with the rusted hulks of destroyed cars. In the middle of the lot is a large water-filled crater that is extremely radioactive (+23 or more) indicating that the Starlight may have been ground zero for a direct hit during the war. There are three major structures: the screen, the workshop and the diner. Following the stairs up behind a screen, it is trapped with proximity mines on the landings. Use caution while entering the diner, as opening the door will cause a booby trap to explode. There is also an active Bottlecap Mine in the left-hand window, which can easily kill an unawares low level adventurer. It is advisable to disarm it from outside.



The screen has an easy locked door towards the back on ground level. Inside, there is a Fusion core on one of the shelves, a Nuka-Cola Quantum and a very-hard locked safe inset into the floor in the left rear corner



The Starlight Drive In only appears in Fallout 4.
