Boston Public Library is a ruined point of interest Location in the central area of The Commonwealth. It is located to the East of Diamond City, between the Police Precinct 8 and Trinity Plaza.



Layout



Upon entering the area, players will be faced with super mutants in various locations. There are structures that make the area congested and ideal for close-quarters combat.



Mutant dogs roam around in packs near allyways and destroyed automobiles. You can find super mutants scattered on rooftops, elevated platforms, and within small buildings. As you make your way through the area, always be sure to have a way out to run if things get too tough.



Traveling through here can be made easier if you enter the building at the back bay door. ( The door is locked but using the intercom and pass with a special check with a high enough INT or Luck can get you inside.)



Inside you will find protectrons and turrets that you can utilize to fight off the super mutants

You gain the ability to hear to the Trinity Tower Radio station upon entering the area surrounding Boston Public Library. Listening to this station opens up the Curtain Call side quest.
